Hello, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself as an artist. My name is Addie Darr. I discovered my artistic nature at a very young age. When I was a little girl, my father bought a ceramic ashtray, glazed by the “three-colored dripping technique” from the Tang Dynasty. Those three colors would flow down and become a mesmerizing new color compilation, which sparked an infinite imagination. This would become the birth of my journey as an artist.

Until the year 2012, I had begun taking my painting very seriously, where I have been painting almost every day since. My style was derived from landscaping and had quickly spread through the interest of my clients, and was inspired by the acknowledgements from my peers. As a result, my style had blossomed from landscaping animal portraits, human portraits, architectural buildings and bridges, flowers, religion, abstracts, and a plethora of other themes. I am proud to say that I have sold over 700 beautiful pieces in my own salon, as well as in various art shows. My ability to paint allows me to express myself in an authentic and therapeutic way. Art has become the centerpiece of my life, which has allowed me to deliver my vision and the expression of my love to the world surrounding me. This journey saved both my business and revived my passion for art. I am grateful to be able to share my passion and to be acknowledged by my friends and fellow clients. I now have a more potent understanding of how art liberated me, and I am able to be a better person.

My ambition is to help everyone I encounter to realize just how uniquely special they are, by sharing their own story with the world.
